Grand Bellevue Dinner Train

Grand Bellevue

The Grand Bellevue Rail Dining Experience returns you to the golden days of rail travel and dining in “Pullman style”. Enjoy a classic dining car setting for your two and a half hour trip, where you can watch the sunset across Rhode Island’s beautiful Narragansett Bay. Our dinner menu features locally-sourced, seasonal foods combined with finer cuts of meat and fish. Vegetarian, and gluten-free options are available upon request. Our train also has a full bar with mixed drinks, wine, spirits, and beers. On select nights Grand Bellevue dinner passengers will enjoy live music from some of Newport’s best musicians and singers.

Reservations are required. Our tables seat four and seating is limited – parties of two may be seated with another couple in traditional railroad fashion. Private tables may be reserved at an additional cost – see the Private Tables for Two section below for more information. The Grand Bellevue is a formal setting and proper dress is required: no shorts, sandals, t-shirts, or beachwear. Please no children under 12 years old. Passengers are asked to arrive 15–20 minutes before departure time for boarding. The train departs from Melville Station at One Alexander Road in Portsmouth.
